Postscript Capital, L.P. is a private investment partnership founded in 2016. 

 

Our name was inspired by the postscript to the Intelligent Investor, added in the 1972 edition.  In it, Ben Graham describes how "the aggregate of profits accruing from [a] single investment-decision far exceeded the sum of all the others realized through 20 years of wide-ranging operations in the partners' specialized fields, involving much investigation, endless pondering, and countless individual decisions."  That single investment-decision was the purchase of a 50% interest in GEICO.

Our goal is to prepare every day to spot, and hold for the long-term, a concentrated portfolio of reasonably priced, high-quality, easily understandable businesses that earn high returns on capital and have long runways for continued growth.
